Have you ever realise that you are living life but your mind is not in the present moment, it thinking something from your future or past. Is it "living" if we are unable to enjoy the moment we are in the word '''PRESENT'' itself means a gift, As we lost the habit of enjoying the beauty of NOW, we forgot what treasure it offers us. We will feel lot happier if we stay in present that to live int he thoughts of past and future. So in this video a super simple trick is given and applying that we would be able to stay in the present moment.

The trick to stay in the present moment is to ask yourself "What am i doing right now?" and then answer this question yourself. Once you answer it, you will automatically dive into the present moment.

When a negative thought comes, close your eyes and exhale sharp and imagine the thought leaving with your breath.
Associate a color with positivity and healing (mines green/blue) and a color for negativity (red). Breathe in the positive color, exhale the negative color. Repeat.

You can also expand your attention. Feel everything that you possibly can without effort. Just feel what is all that there is in this moment. Even if there are thoughts just see them as part of this moment. Have an expanded consciousness and it won't matter if you think or not.

For me the reason why it's so hard to stay present is the feeling that something negative will eventually hit me so I can't help it but to mentally prepare myself building scenarios analyzing them to the point where I feel comfort and ready for it and this just goes on without end. If it's not that then it's me bringing up memories from the past pondering over them and building delusion out of them. Constantly getting fucked by the past and the future to where being present is difficult.

if you ever get to a point where you overthink for example you’re out with a girl and you feel insecure about yourself from bad experience in the past and you’re afraid that she’ll say the same thing, just as yourself

Thanks for this. It's a lot harder than it seems. I always get so 'absorbed' into my thoughts. I often don't even notice that I am not living in the present.

It depends that what thought makes you feel. If it feels you good like a trip you enjoyed a lot or thinking about your glorious future it is not bad

thanks so much for this❤️ but i really need to ask this. my own technique i use is to let go of the thought or feelings, i first focus on the thought of feeling then i just let it be, whilst focusing on the feeling or thought, i’m allowing it to do what it wants to do without obstructing or disrupting at that present moment. As i’m allowing the feeling to just be, i am putting myself back in the present because the feeling or thought has happened or is happening in the present even though it’s about the past or future. you really want to just let it be and you’ll be directed back to the present. you can still focus on things around you like sounds, smells, taste, movements, feelings etc.
