This is my comparison of my Class A vs Class C motorhome. I owned at 2019 Sunseeker 3250LE for 18 months and 11,000 miles. I sold this RV and recently purchased a 2018 Thor Hurricane 34J Class A RV. The class A has some advantages, and in this video I go through those.

What do you miss about a class C?

Is the length of your class C and class A about the same?

Do you find it more difficult to get into places? Parking lots, camp sites. Is the low bridge risk the same or higher with the class?

Why I’m asking these questions is I was talking to class A owner and he was going to a class C. The reason was he was mostly of a day tripper type person and he was tired of worrying about low branches and low bridges just easier to move around. But my limited research shows that the class C and class A are about the same height.

smart guy u are..
but the one mistake ya did make
was the year ya bought..
i been livin in class As since 1989
the years ya wanna stay in is from 1992 to 2006
wayyy better build quality and those chassis were unbreakable ! the engines were bullet proof too!
newer
is not always better !!
remember that.
the diesel pusher!!!!
i cant stress that enough my friends!!
oh sure the one u have is nice!
its a gasser right, which are ok
but im all about that towing and power up hills
the diesel can get the job done.
if u want your RV to tow the line
with out any real issues
there nothin like that ole caterpillar diesel
with that 6 speed Allison tranny man !!
spartan or the work horse chassis !!!
but any whooo
just my professional opinion lol.
i own an live in a 2004 tiffin phaeton
never ever an issue!! period.
and i bought it in 2006.
just oil changes and wiper blades is all.
and shes a beast will still run 90mph on an open flat.
im in the arizona desert nov13 2023 loving life
oh and buy the way diesel pushers are cheap !
for what u paid for your gasser
u could have got a perfectly sound diesel pusher for around 35 to 40k
hell i only paid 51k for mine. newer is not better!!
i dont know anyone that would buy a 2017 or 18 anything!
we never bought looks
we wanted somthin that was bullet proof.
to many problems later with the newer stuff
and we wont get into the V10 triton .

Thanks for doing this video. We were looking at a Forest River 3250LE for tailgating. Found a good deal on one. 53k for low mileage 2019. However I wanted to find reviews and its short-comings. Your video saved me from a hard lesson. We will use for tailgating primarily for next couple years. And we lean heavily on "Automatic Leveling" - "Strong AC" and ability to run 2 portable ac as well as PA sound system. I also don't want to get blown around on the road so your comments on suspension shortcomings was huge. I can upgrade suspension of course. But would rather buy something that is already what I want. receiver
