I'm having fun raising up this group of baby tegus. They are so cute and curious I love to watch them interact with new things! Watch as we move the high blacks into their new enclosure.

Love how gentle you are with the babies and how happy you are when you work with them and video for us. I feel it really helps with how they turn out as adults, I was scared to death of mine ( fear of being bitten... its that feeding lunge thing) I've come a long way since seeing how you just nonchalantly handle your tegus with such confidence. I’m not sure how I found your channel, it’s possible YouTube had a great recommendation for once. I’ve been researching tegus for weeks and I have decided that once I’m ready the tegu will come from you. Your channel deserves much more recognition, keep up the good work.

I haven’t owned a lizard in a while and my last one was a bearded. I’m thinking about getting an ackie monitor or a skink instead of jumping right back in by getting a tegu but I’m just in love with tegus.

Hey Joey maybe next time when you build or decide to replace the bottom layer of wood from those enclosures use Drylock or pond sealer on them so it doesn’t rot . My Athena is doing great. Can’t believe I got her from you almost a year ago.
