Today we put various foods up to the test as they compete for Ally's favoritism! We finally know what her favorite food is :D

What I do go get my picky Tegu to eat veggies is make a meatball and put the veggies inside. She never sees it coming!

I know it is a shame that Allie's original owners had to give her up due to a change in Florida's laws but at least they know she is going to be taken great care of.

I'm here early, so I'm going to try to get this seen. Seeing the stepstools in your recent facility update video, it made me, a wheelchair user, think about how to make the taller enclosures viewable for wheelchair users too. I think there are a few options that would be fairly easy to implement, like a "stepstool" but is a ramp up to a small platform wheelchair users could roll on in order to view those top enclosures.

As a Brazilian, I am sooo used to seeing Tegus all around as wild animals that honestly I had to remind myself that some countries actually allow people to keep them as pets

Ally is soooo adorable! It’s just so satisfying watching her just eat up all of these food items. It’s so funny watching her try to eat those eggs and it just rolling out of her mouth, haha!

I used this to help me eat cuz I kept saying: “if ally can do it, I can too!” You have no idea how much this helped me. It’s kinda weird... but she helped me eat after 2 days, thank you snake discovery (but mainly ally 😂). ❤️❤️❤️
