Today, we’re going to talk about endometriosis. I’m going to cover what endometriosis is and what you may be able to do about it.

What is endometriosis?
Endometriosis is endometrial tissue outside of the uterus. Endometrial tissue is composed of partially glandular and partly connective tissue that also has immune properties.

Glandular tissue is highly sensitive to hormones, primarily estrogen. This is why women who have estrogen dominance have a higher risk of getting this condition.

Endometriosis symptoms:

• Chronic inflammation
• Pain in the pelvis and pain internally
• Dysfunctional menstrual cycle
• Infertility
• Painful intercourse

What causes endometriosis (7 potential causes):

1. Cotton (GMO)
2. Dairy
3. Soy
4. GMO-Foods
5. Grains
6. Grain-fed animal products
7. Sugar (GMO)

What to do for endometriosis:

• Go organic
• Consume a natural vitamin C complex
• Consume a natural vitamin E complex
• Consume selenium
• Consume omega 3 fatty acids

There is an enzyme in the body called aromatase that converts testosterone into estrogen. Some of the estrogen that’s creating the estrogen dominance situation could be coming from testosterone. A good alternative would be to take an aromatase inhibitor. Stinging nettle root is one of the best aromatase inhibitors, and you can take it as a supplement.

I have endometriosis, adenomyosis, leaky gut, and fibroid and used to have ovarian cyst. My gynaecologist and kine advised me to cut sugar, gluten, dairy and meat from supermarket except . Eating a lot of red rice, quinoa and buckwheat. Lots of sweet potato or potatoes, brocolis, and pumpkin. Drink sencha green tea, ginger curcuma tea and pomegranate juice.... It's difficult when I'm invited so I bring my own food. My friends are supportive, so they understand 🙏 I also need to do a lot of exercise, which is hard because I'm always tired. I hope to get some improvements in a few months....

I’ve suffered since I was 16 with excruciating pain and thought that was just my lot in life. Finally at 45, after deciding to be pushy with doctors, we discovered it was endometriosis. Had surgery last October and apparently it was all over. We need way more research and help with this than there is! I can literally feel it growing back with sharp pains and inflammation regularly

Great info! All I know is that I went keto after finding Dr. Berg's channel and done it for about a year and a half. I'm 39 and conceived on my first try. Currently 30w pregnant. I firmly believe it would have taken much longer if it were not for keto.

I dont want to eat anything anymore. In short, have your own farm and eat what you grow yourself. Have your own livestock if possible. Our Food Industry is terrible. Thank you Doctor for informing all of us and helping us make wiser food choices.

I took my granddaughter (17) to see a gynaecologist yesterday (UK), she has been having all the symptoms of endometriosis for over a year, bleeding 3 weeks out of 4, constantly, heavy, extreme pain, to the point she can barely walk, the 'expert' dismissed diet, said as she had already had a scan which came back showing nothing, she could not have it, all she did was promote the Mirena coil. My grand daughter refused, and is now following Dr Bergs regime, time will tell, but I feel all the Doctors do these days is peddle drugs or useless treatments!

Dr Berg, don't forget to mention that when the endometrial tissue invades the uterine muscle, the patient gets a big boggy soft uterus that often bleeds irregularly if not heavily with cramping. I believe your endometriosis treatments would hold true here as well. Thanks, Rita, retired OB/Gyn

This informative video is 3 years late for me, , when I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis with 2 big endometriotic cysts only solution was to have TAHBSO, sadly I didn’t know anything about endometriosis and was eating all the wrong food, , hopefully this video will help all the women out there struggling with the horrible disease

I had one observation regarding Vitamin C and Lemons. Coming from the city of Mumbai (India), I've heard a lot of people linking foods with 'Sour taste' to Inflammation. Due to this myth, a lot of people with RA or Arthritis in general, do not consume Lemons which has such a good source of Vitamin C complex. 'THEY' are really messing things up for the laymen and thank God I was able to find you. Thank you Dr. Berg!

My wife has trouble in the womb area.

Whenever she’s stressed, whether it’s work stress, whatever stress, her lower sacral area gets affected. It's not just during the time of the month. And when it acts up, it's like indigestion and cramps and sharp pangs to the lower tummy area and it can really bloat up to the point it looks like she’s a month preggers. Not only that, her lower back will act up with spasms and the resulting effect of that is exhaustion and fatigue.

This is obviously a combo of many things, continuing years of ongoing stress... chronic stress symptoms, and it does shows in her body especially when I she’s mentally affected by something or someone...

Shes trying some Chinese medicine to help warm up the womb and some acupuncture, but willing to learn more. Sometimes the discomfort and the symptoms set her back for days.

She doesn’t have heavy periods but I thought I’d comment here too as she does have the symptoms of endometriosis.

Main symptoms:

Painful spasms lower back - right up to a week or 2 before period

Lower painful abdomen during period and even after.

And also, she feels unwell especially before period begins. Flu like symptom. It’s a pattern.

Sometimes cramps.

When stressed, same symptoms almost like she’s about to have another period but nothing comes.

One detail... she’s a leukaemia survivor. 7 years since she was diagnosed. I need her to live healthy and pain free (as much as possible) for the rest of my life at least.

Any info appreciated. Thanks.

There's a girl on YouTube who has PCOS, which I know is different, but her periods are extremely painful.  She made a video about experimenting with period cups rather than using pads or tampons, and she said using the cups lessened her cramps significantly.  She has no idea why, but it may also have an effect on Endo patients.  The girl is named  RawBeautyKristi if you want to find it.  The title says something about Period Cups, and she used them for 6 months before making a video.

I work as a physical therapist,
One time I had some one visit me. The person had a shoulder pain. But only in certain times of the month (during the period).
After some research we found out it was caused by endometriosis. This was grown to the diafragm what reffered his pain to the shoulder.

God Bless you Dr. Berg for all the amazing material you're putting out there. You're part of my routine, watch a few of your videos every day and it has been life changing. I used to take contraceptives for ages because of my PMS and since I've been on the keto diet, with supplements it has gone completely away: no symptoms, no pain, no bloating. thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your research and for sharing your knowledge through your channel.

Thank you Dr. Berg. I feel like you made this video for me since I asked. I know you didn’t but I’m so grateful. I didn’t know the connection with the GMO products. Just learned many things off of this. I’ve been suffering from Endometriosis since I was 22 with 3 surgeries but Keto has helped me tremendously. You’re awesome 👏🏻
