Quest 2 is 90Hz and was at the time of this video upload, with 120Hz being tested in March. It also has pass through at the time of this video to play PC games on Steam, not just the Oculus rift store. The Quest 2 also allows for viewing the room around you via the cameras without removing the headset, a point you made about the rift S but not on the Quest 2.

Also many new Headsets are coming out in 2021 and 2022, you should wait for these before you buy something,
but if you really wanna buy something, bang for the buck, go for Quest 2 > Valve Index and nothing else besides these two.

If you have a special case, where HP G2 is better for you, go for it, but the tracking is lacking and it has a better display than Index, but less framerate (120vs90) and a smaller FOV (Field of View) so in 9/10 cases, I would still go for the Index instead (if you take out the price difference)

There you go, forget everything you head in this video, its the worst I ever saw.

Oculus requires facebook login. You get banned from FB you get banned from your oculus. Turns it into a paperweight. They can also delete all your games. Nah I'm buying something else.

Oculus Quest to can be set at 90hz now. And can stream your computer.

yeah be careful with the Valve index, there are a load of reports of them over heating because of the front tinted plate

Since This bloke is apparently not credible "i thank you comment section, " im curious. Wich is better? Oculust Rift S or HTC vive cosmos elite? You see, i already have oculust Rift S, and i was quite dissapointed. I was unable to play half my games, even though i have a quite beefy computer, and when i tried some of the games they were quite blurry and bad screen quality, was thinking of replacing it with the HTC vive elite since theres a sale for it where i live.

Thoughts?

Any recommendations?
I want a headset where I can lay down at night and watch scenic videos of going through the mountains, over oceans, forests and even cities... to relaxe my mind.
I have a cheap VR headset where you put your phone in front of the lenses and I can watch YouTube in VR but the view shifts to where I can see the scenery when I sit up but when I lay down I can't see anything.
