Honestly even if padme willingly joined anakin, even going like full evil out of no where, palpe would still plan her death. Cause even if she were completely evil or loyal to anakin and his new empire, anakins love for her would always be a tie to return to the light, and thats a risk he wouldn't take

I’m actually a bit surprised she didn’t, palpatine was head of the senate which she was a huge part of and she knew the dark side of Anakin like when he murdered the Tuskens, the women and the children too and she only fell more in love with him after hearing that but she drew the line at jedi younglings? So slaughtering women and children is okay as long as they aren’t human huh Padme Hypocritdala?

All jokes aside when i saw it for the first time as a child the scene Kenobi told her what he did and she said “no not my Annie” then didn’t give up his location i was thinking she was dedicated team Anakin.

Ironically she was getting through to him until kenobi showed up and he went all “YOU BROUGHT HIM HERE TO KILL ME” Lol
