I can confirm what this video said. I once did this by accident. I was thirsty one day and decided to buy Coca Cola. After I finished drinking it, a classmate was offering Mentos to his classmates, including me. I forgot I drank the Coca Cola and decided to eat the Mentos. Nothing actually hapenned, hahaha.

I’ve tried the mentos in coke a couple times and it didn’t explode at all. But my science teacher tried some experiments with Pepsi cans and had to conclude no two soda cans are alike enough for experimentation.
