To all English learners here, I'm gonna give you an advice if you don't mind.
When learning a word it is important to listen to the SOUND rather than the spelling, Why?, Well because English is NOT phonetically consistent, Like the word THWART, The sound of the word THWART IS WITH and O sound instead of an A, So even if you come across a word that you don't know when having a conversation focus on the sound and figure out the spelling later, This has been perfectly working for me
