3 Overdrive pedals with Dr. Z EZG 50 amp- Jason Hobbs

This is a quick demo of 3 overdrive pedals ...not quite a shoot out, just some samples that i personally like with the OCD fulltone, plimsoul fulltone and one of my personal favourite the Wampler paisley drive designed by Brian Wampler for the Brad Paisley. again, This is just what the camera mic hears only...thats why it gets a bit distorted at times...you need to hear these pedals in person to truly appreciate the dynamics of each one....I love them all.

The EZG 50 is the best amp I’ve owned. It has Blackface cleans but takes dirt pedals much better!

I always had issues with my OCD being way too muddy and not articulate.. even with a tele/Dr Z maz 18 which is a bright combination. Sounds like they've increased the clarity with the Plimsoul, which I haven't tried yet. Nice vid... love the comparisons.

All nice pedals, I have a Paisley that works well with all my amps with some tweaking.

Hey Gotta ask, Love all your videos by the way. Im looking to get another amp, for clean. Im stuck some time now between the Two Rock Studio Pro and the EZG 50. Can I get that smooth Keith Urban/John Mayer tone from the DR Z? I have a MAZ 38 and Love DR Z quality, But Im looking for that certain " Till Summer Comes Around " clean. I don't have a local dealer where Im at so I have to buy online. You know Dr Z amps better than any dealer anyway so I thought I would ask..

the paisley is more bass....end the OCD is more balanced
