Hello and welcome to a new Unity shader tutorial with the amplify shader editor, we're taking a look at a few vertex deformation examples and kicking it all off with bulging a mass out of your mesh and having it scroll through like it was some cartoony fat mouse trying to escape through some pipes.

In the next video we'll cover the "grow" mesh with the flower examples.

Great tutorial! One thing I don't get tho. How do you get the white levels on the top when you multiply black top levels with themselves at 2:38? Black times black should be black right? Does a special rule apply when it's coming from a Texture Coordinates node?

Hello again. Nice video as always. An acquaintance of mine is trying to replicate this effect in Shader Graph but is having trouble implementing the Vertex Normal Node at 5:44 so do you know of a node in shader graph that could be used?

Could you make a video on vegetation displacement/deformation in ASE (grass, plants, etc) ? Something so the vegetation bends when an object/player is on or near it, never got it myself to work in ASE and i'd be curious to see how you approach that.
