Top tier coaster. A must for any enthusiast. 2nd launch at night is pure terror. Too bad they removed the heart line 😢

If you don’t know anything about this on your first visit to Cedar Point, it does look kinda lame. The reason is that it looks so tiny, as it is sandwiched between both Millennial Force and Steel Vengeance, both of which are significantly bigger in size.

Don’t let that fool you, though; this ride is kickass, and is aggressive in all of the best ways possible.

When I think of roller coasters I think of this ride. I remember doing it at like 10pm when the park was about to close down. They don’t (or at least when I rode it, they didn’t) light the track very well and I rode it in the front. it is literally the most thrilling amusement park ride experience I’ve ever had. While the Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster take the cake with size, the Maverick makes up for with sheer chaos.

with out a doubt the best at cedar point. out of the 397 I've ridden, this is number 6.

Awesome ride. Just wish there was a way to put that heartline roll back in. (Along with the also removed corkscrew/dive loop on Cheetah Hunt.)

This was interesting. Maverick is my second favorite coaster (after Magnum, and third favorite ride, after Skyhawk) at Cedar Point. I wouldn't be able to describe it, so this video was really informative. I love rides with airtime so it makes sense why I enjoyed Maverick so much. Though my favorite part was actually the turn where the fountain goes off, I thought that was super cool. I also like how its comfortable to ride and how the inversions are smooth and not dizzying. I went on with my friend who is terrified of intense rides and even he enjoyed it fully!

wow thank you so much for the video. This is my favorite coaster i have ever been on ... i live 3 minutes from kings island and nothing there rips your face off like maverick does. I can only hope kings island gets something even close to this.

I kinda think that Wave Breaker is gonna be like this, but less intense. SeaWorld San Antonio is my home park along with SFFT, and I haven't ridden an Intamin yet, so I'm pumped for it! (:

The heart line room didn’t cause to much stress, it caused to many positive g forces for most riders check out eltoro Ryan’s vid about maverick.

Maverick is insane! I went on it and saw a quiz (in line) that was talking about the launch. I was like that's a pretty small launch" because I didn't realize the second launch existed. So when we stopped inside the tunnel I was like "Oh, this is where we unload? It's kind of dark in here..." Then suddenly the launch started I screamed and freaked out super bad. Definitely intense!
