I remember going on this for the first time having no idea what it was, thinking it was a more gentle coaster because of its size. And then when the ride I was done, I turned to my partner and was like WHAT JUST HAPPENED. Still my favorite ride at CP, even more than SteVe

I remember wanting to ride this when I was 9 because it wasn't very tall. Unbeknownst to me, it would be the most intense thing 9-year-old me would ever experience. Definitely in my top 3 to this day.

This ride is the best at the park at the moment. I always had Dragster as 1 but now that dragster is gone Maverick is just amazing but hopefully top thrill 2 will be good

this will always be my favorite coaster on the planet. My favorite memory was when we got fast passes for the first time and we would hop right back on after getting off with almost zero waiting at all. We must've rode this 20 times in a row with zero waiting at all despite there being a two hour wait without the fast passes. You could definitely feel the hate from some of the people standing in line who got to watch you ride this over and over again. We went again last year and unfortunately, even with the fast pass + bracelets there was still a 45 min wait. I swear they are selling too many of them.
