You can't make tributaries of non neighbors anymore

the easier and more correct way is by sea not by land.
build a sea route, some outpost in malaya and india, africa coast and build a trade company there.
conquer Europe first and temporarily leave Asia as a tributary.
travel by sea was very fast and the conquest of the province was faster according to the colonial range at that time.
Ming as the strongest at the start of the game, easily defeating other big players, only needed transportation to his destination.

You should slow down a little, had to pause and rewind to hear what you said several times.

I would at least convert 10 provinces for the age objective during the reformation age.

I'm currently playing more of a Tall Ming casual Ming with 3 colonies and shit tons of tributaries lol. So far all of Asia is under my control, I don't really want to mess with Europe, but idk, I still have like 300 years in game and might decide to fuck them sooner or layer

Do you let the rebels spawn or fiddle around with raise autonomy?

Does the EU4 community accept tributaries as part of a "legit" world conquest with subjects? Seems like the game generally doesn't view a tributary as having the same status as a vassal (e.g all the missions that require you or a non tributary subject to own land).

Great video though, you should do one on the Ottomans! They have a lot of cool midgame achievments (Own Rome, moscow, constantinople ; conquer paris) and are in the nearly perfect position to Unify Islam for that achievement as well,

If you have every remaining nation as a loyal tributary by 1821 does it count as a world conquest?

You really need to tell people to move their capital to Europe if possible
Ming has three ridiculoisly great trade companies. If you move your capital to Europe, you can turn the whole thing into one.

This is a good guide for beginners but I don’t really agree with the “Pretend Missionaries don’t exist” part. Since Animist providences change to your religion when you colonize parts of the world it’s technically not needed to harmonize animist and it’ll get rid that missing religious unity and it’s fairly easy to get rid of. Although if you want to harmonize it I can see it that way. Anyway great job

Great video. But if you're going to be saying "beginner's" guide you should really be aware of the fact that a large number of things you did in this video are unavailable to new players who probably don't have the mandate or other DLC's
