Man, this was very heartwarming. Even if Sonic has enemies he always finds a way of making others smile. In this case... His compassionate for others... Couldn't resist saving Surge even if Surge tried to hurt Sonic. He is a hero! No one can take that away from him. Not a single soul

What happened: Surge proceeded to Electrocute Sonic in a pool of water, eventually knocking herself out from power overdose and temporarily stopping Sonic’s Heart, in the last shot here, Surge is Unconscious and Sonic is Technically Dead

I haven’t seen a sonic comic that wasn’t like a time skip like da comiks so I haven’t seen what happened to surge after there first match

Man, if Sage found out Surge and Kit almost killed her dad? She probably would’ve hacked their cybernetics and killed them. Or just, made them into obedient slaves for Eggman. By taking control of their minds and bodies. He’s more into robots though. So the most likely scenario I could see, is he and Sage experiment on them, use them as cannon fodder just to get killed fighting Sonic, or have them be punching bags to increase Metal’s efficiency. Either way, Sage and Eggman could probably make their lives worse than Starline already had. Hypothetically speaking. Still, the only way I see Sage coming into the plot line of the comics, is a good old-fashioned time skip. Sometime after Frontiers.
