Spotify Album Art Design Tutorial Part 1 - Affinity Photo Tutorial

Spotify has created not only a fantastic music streaming service but they have also carved out for themselves a pretty distinct style of design in their album and playlist covers.

Popularized by their "Duotone Effect"(which we will be doing in a later video) Spotify has done a great job at standing out and creating a consistent style across the board.

Whether you are using a different program than Affinity Photo (perhaps something like photoshop) it doesn't matter because the methods are the same to create Spotify album art.

Please do some challenge where you listen to a typical genre and try to create a fake album art that will go with the music. I feel that this will help you to be creative and learn more about your tool. Thank you Jesse!

Ok so when you listen to a song on YouTube there is usually a image on the screen with the album photo and the song, artist, and album listed next to it and a blown up blurred version of the album cover in the background... How do you make one of those
