Yess!! A tutorial with a simple mechanism and nothing dangerous that I don't think I have the skill to work with yet, like capacitors! I'm taking my journey through robotics quite slow; thank you for the tutorial!! If I'm able try it at any point I will let you know how things

Did you connect power directly to the Arduino board? Or is there only power supply in the L298N?

Just what I needed, - clear instructions that worked first time - Thanks

query 1 = i am using only one ground as the other two grounds are jammed with jumper wires because they broke into headersplease help me
query 2 = i am using 5v motor will it work

Hello, i have a scoot with motor of 800w 36v and the transistor of the throttle grip IS broken. I buy L298n and LM2596 40v to connect on of them with a potentiomètre. I have no knowledge in Arduino and i haven't Arduino Uno. How i Can connect potentiometre in one of them ??? Ty very much

Great tutorial !!!! Is it possible to turn the Dc motor in both directions with a potentiometer ? And you do that ? Many thanks .

Bro please help me, I've used all same components as you only my power source is 5V but my motor isn't rotating and just making some wired sounds and max output at L298N module is showing 0.5V

I tried this with exactly same parts, only diferent type of 12V motor. And it worked, but...After some minutes of rotation, the motor was slowing down and was less powerful. It looks like the whole system took so much energy, because after that, the battery was discharged. Do you have any idea what could be the cause of it? Or did someone experienced something similar?

I got my 12v motor to work for a sec but suddenly is just makes a tiny noise and wont move and y L298N gets really hot

why the board does not have feedback pins

I did the same circuit and code as in the video, but the motor is not working. When I checked the voltage coming out from the bridge to the motor, it was so low(something in mille volte ). Any idea why I got this?

Great video ✊🏾 Would this design work with a bigger motor on a 24v system?

Everything runs and all but i cant get the potentiometer to work so the motor is just running full speed cant change the speed

How do you rotate the DC motor like 90 degrees only and stop ?? how do you make the potentiometer sensor get the angle turned by the motor??

You can do the same thing without arduino. Just the motor, the power source, the controller and the potentiometer ...
