Emirates A380 DXB-LAX - 16 brutal hours in economy class

My longest flight ever, and I just so happened to be stuck in economy class. But this is Emirates, and their A380's are quite comfortable for for runs of this length. I didn't die!

Aircraft registration was A6-EOG and I was seated in 60H.

He was only giving his honest opinion about flying economy and I agree with him. 14 hours was enough for me. It drove me nuts being crammed in for that amount of time and if I could afford business class I would choose it. If you enjoy economy, good on you but some of us don't enjoy it we fly that class because that is all we can afford and if that makes us diva's - I'm a diva.

The very fact a massive plane like that can fly for 16 hours reliably and in reasonable comfort for all is a massive credit to the engineers and the flight crew. Truly amazing.

try living in Australia, mate. We have to fly 14 hours to LA, 18 to NY, or 20-22 hours to anywhere in Europe. Even Asia is 7- 10 hours.Tedious in the extreme...

I’ve taken this flight in economy class several times. It is pretty long but the Emirates A380 is very quiet and spacious. Also emirates has great entertainment and they keep you very well fed throughout the flight. It’s far from a horrible experience. This guy needs to stop being such a diva

I understood him to say that 16 hours is brutal and he flew in economy class. Why are so many comments hard on him?
I appreciate the video because It gives perspective to help me choose objectively from this guys personal experience whether to go economy or business/first.

15 hours and 20 minutes economy from ORD-TPE on EVA....and loved every minute of it. Cattle class international is 10x better than any US carrier, not seeing "brutal" economy in this video. Congrats and welcome to the mainstream of 95% of the traveling public. Wheels up, meals, IFE, functioning bathrooms and wheels down, sounds like a win-win.

A lil bit of exaggeration. I fly between JFK and DXB all the time it aint that bad. Now if u were flying an American airline then hmmm.... well i aint gonna say it.

Boo boo, poor you! Traveling like the rest of us. Come on it’s fine... A to B safely, movies, drinks, food. We just looked at getting business class Paris to Brisbane and decided to save ourselves £4000 by going economy, which is another couple of holidays next year. Emirates are so good even in Economy they treat you really well.

I've done 16 hours HKG-ORD in economy on a 777-200ER. It's long, but doable.

For your legs, just get up more often or do simple exercises from your seat.
