How To Hit Irons Pure And LOW (Trajectory Control And Ball FLIGHT Laws @elitegolfschools)

In my latest episode with Elite Golf Schools here in Arizona, lead coach Riley Andrews and I uncover how to hit irons pure with 4 proven ways for you to lower your trajectory.

Although this is a topic I have covered in the past, in this video Riley and I will demonstrate 4 simple methods to show you how to hit the golf ball lower, some golf setup related and some that can be applied in the golf swing. Is your 7 iron launch angle way too high? Maybe you are after that pro like knock down golf shot, or that famous Tiger Woods stinger?

For us to reduce dynamic loft, improve that angle of attack, and lower the launch angle, there are a few things that need to happen, and in this video you will learn our 4 preferred ways (aligned with ball flight laws) to accomplish that. We hope you enjoy this latest edition to our Elite series and wish you luck in hitting your irons more pure than ever before!

I have to second Brian’s comments. This was just an outstanding video that shares not only the how, what and why but also how to take the next steps in your game on the range and on the course.

This was so good on so many levels even beyond just manipulating traj. Just controlling (I call it) trunk speed to control centrifugal force (?) into the hands/ clubhead keeping hands ahead. Taking this to the range today as I have a hard time connecting the speed of my trunk and hands so I get a lot of thins from too much lag (fast trunk) or fats and spiny shots from my hands out running my trunk. At least that's what I FEEL like is happening. Again. Thx

Thoughts on putting the ball far forward in the stance and keeping the pressure forward and swing speed down to flight down shots??

Is the basic premise behind the elite golf downswing the club goes first then thé body; or thé body goes first and then the club; or do both go at the same time? Which is true first; second or third?

To me as I am throwing my club head sideways directly down to and through my ball; the club goes first as the momentum of the club brings my body to finish on its lead side. Cheers 👍😃⛳️🥂

Nice video but I need the complete opposite of this. My iron flight is far too low. I get away with it in winter here in Ireland. I'd love to see how you guys hit it higher.

Ok let's say it's a windy day and the wind is face on. So I'm heading my drive. I move up on the ball, move the ball a little back in my stance, move my hands a little down the shaft and swing a bit slower to get the best outcome. Correct?

So then a faster rotation of the torso does NOT equal faster clubhead speed? If I slow down that rotation won’t the club head be dumped too early, no longer “towing”the lead arm and club through, leading to heavy shots and less distance?
Sorry, a bit confused here.

Force = Mass x Acceleration
That is a formula of science
and a recipe for success.
I suggest a Milo Lines calendar for 2024 with weekly tips, events, birthdays, history
and photos of Superstition Mountain and Arizona golf.
You're welcome.

Teaching like this without data (trackman or some LM) and not being able to see the degrees of loft is just guessing
