A few observations after a bit of digging into the Forgotten Languages site:
1. Although the non-English text is gibberish at full scale, it contains many small snippets of coherent text in known languages, including Estonian and Sanskrit, with no clear connection to the interspersed English-language commentary/translations.
2. The references listed in the "Bibliographica" below each article fall into 2 categories: links to other Forgotten Languages articles, and actual scholarly documents and related literature (not linked).
3. All of the FL articles I have read so far (about a dozen) deal with topics of contact with/interference by nonhuman intelligences. These topics are closely aligned to the main ideas driving the plot of the Three-Body Problem trilogy by Liu Cixin, including the "Dark Forest" solution to the Fermi Paradox and the methods of interference and control via manipulation of information.
4. The FL articles are copyrighted 2008-2024. The Wayback Machine has no record of the FL website prior to 2013. The Three-Body Problem trilogy by Liu Cixin was first published in 2008.
Conclusion: "Forgotten Languages" seems to be a project based on the ideas in the Three-Body Problem, demonstrating the effectiveness of information warfare and created using transformational algorithms in a LLM from random bits of existing source text.

There’s a gentleman who is the comment box who says he 60+ years old and that it’s always been something coming and then nothing ever happens well I’m almost 50 and in the relative comparison of time me and him aren’t that far apart…. And I’ve heard the same.. that we are doomed in many different ways… and the beginning of this episode rings very true: Robert Bigelow is not a bull shyter, and to see him at a loss for words when trying to describe what we will face tells me that it’s very true, rather it be global warming and the collapse of our planet, mankind and nukes, or a NHI taking us out… I feel that the threat is very real and that we will face an event that will negatively impact life as we know it… now is the time to get your mind right spiritually no matter what you believe in.

I just want to say, thank you Clint for your amazing interviews. The way you present information is just outstanding. You have a terrific, soothing and deep voice that isn't annoying to listen to, but what I also love is how you draw in our attention to interesting points of information in your videos - You do this without attaching your opinions or beliefs to those things and merely just draw in our attention to those interesting bits of info thus allowing us to decide for ourselves what to think or make of it. Its a very clever, but most importantly - unbiased way - of presenting information which can be difficult for some to digest, and moreover, difficult for others to believe. That website seems to be a public platform (akin to reddit) for intelligence/military officials to communicate to each other. The encrypted language makes sense as the military uses written code to communicate sensitive information. The portions written in English is probably a scientist or military contractor and although can read the encrypted text, does not have the clearance to use it themselves.
