Lived with gas cooking and heatinf all my life until recently, I enjoy the temp control of a good gas stove but I don't like the environmental costs or the stress of thinking their is a gas leak somewhere in the house

Odd. The San Diego gas company said that natural gas is safe.

I'm all electric and I miss a gas hob for controllability. I'm thinking about getting a powerful single burner stove run off a gas cylinder for wok cooking etc.
There isn't this sort of restriction here 🇬🇧 that I've heard of. Specifically I'm in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

This is part of the green deal. They want all electric and no fossil fuels. Well they better work on improving the electric grid first. My family has been using natural gas for generations. No adverse effects on us.

I've been trying to find a cause for asthma and allergies and making light of correlation and causation, implying that stoves are a clear risk for asthma is infuriating. Edit: checked Google scholar, only association for high level of NO2(impossible if you have a gas sensor) and no clear causation(more data needed)

So they’ll probably just save the natural gas to use to make nitrogen fertilizer which burns holes in the ozone layer letting more UV in which causes more global warming than methane itself does.

So propane and fuel oil users are in tje clear? Seems to be a scare tactic if you ask me. I'd much more concerned with what the fda says is safe for kids to eat.
