How to Use Apple Maps Offline (tutorial)

It is now possible to save, to download certain portions of Apple Maps that will be used later on even without an internet connection. This is a new feature coming in iOS 17 but I'm already showing you how it works right now.

Why won’t Apple just let users download by country or by city?

BAD TITLE. This claims to show you how to "Use" offline maps, but it doesn't. All he does is show you how to "download" them. I put my iPhone on airplane mode and cannot figure out how to find or use the downloaded map. He needs to correct the title of this video to match what it's truely about.

Maybe I am doing something wrong. I downloaded area of my country, when I’m offline I can’t just tap an address, which is in downloaded area. With google I can download same area, tap address and google shows me route. Question is, am I doing something wrong or Apple Maps at this point can’t do this?

You only showed how to dload a map, not how to use?

It's all well and good to have the offline map. Now try and use it to navigate, and you'll soon see that you wont be able to do it
