I used the new controls since they first came out as a texture pack and I use both the pointer finger aim and my thumb.Thumb for when I attack my opponents and pointer for when I use the right button.Hope that helps

Even on a mobile I've learnt to play on 4 fingers as shown in the video, I don't actually hold my phone but keep it at a place at a good angle and tap the buttons...
