Special ed class is fun! We get to go on field trips or CBI's we at least get to cook on the stove that's provided in our classroom, and I'm the only special ed person who's in band! But wait there's more! We have other kids one of them used to be in choir, and then the other one's are in theater, and work on theater props, I just hope that my band directors will try to do some things for me, to help with my sight. :)❤

Never in our small district, we ( parents) make sure the office of the three elementary’s, one middle school, one district office receive something for back to school week, Christmas, Thanksgiving, administrative day, principal day, and our sped teachers every month get a lunch for them and their paraprofessionals. WE LOVE, APPRECIATE, KNOW AND SEE THEIR DEDICATION and consistent passion for their field. I have two sons in mod/severe, whatever we can do as a family to contribute to the day to day enhancement of instruction we will do it. From a parent, I appreciate you!!😇🌞

In the special ed my high school had, we had a “winter wonderland festival” where we would have different stations set up (pretty much all of them were food setups though because scissors and glue were banned in the special ed classrooms). We had collectively bought gifts for all the teachers for the special ed classes. They ranged from homemade cards to an entire sewing machine for our reading teacher. Rich schools can be a lot more dangerous with all these more violent special ed students, but damn does it pay off if you get on their good side.

Not all classes are like that Special Ed gets a lot of presents to in a bag for a teacher or a kid so it's like 50-50❤❤❤
