She was my teacher when she worked in the Pawling School District. I first had her in 7th grade and then I had to reunite with her in 9th grade. I screamed with fright when I first saw my high school schedule because I knew that I was gonna be in for more torture and yelling all over again. There was only one student in her class that she yelled at a lot... that person was me. When I was in her class, I got yelled at by her quite a bit. She even threatened to tear up my homework one time if I didn't write big enough. I have a learning disability where I don't learn the same way that everyone else does. During fire drills, if I took off my sunglasses for five seconds, she would get kinda pissed and would tell me to put them back on in a way that would pretty much scare me (since I have epilepsy). Thankfully, the school gave me the option to switch to a special program for people who had disabilities just like me (examples include epilepsy, autism, etc). Sometimes at the end of class, I would walk into the hallway with tears streaming down my face from getting yelled at. It ain't my fault that I don't learn things properly like everyone else and that I have small handwriting. Sometimes, if I asked her to repeat a question she asked me, she'd get annoyed at me for not listening properly. I'm not deaf because I can hear what she's saying, but I just didn't remember the question she asked me. My mom and I weren't a big fan of her, and neither were my classmates or my friends. This is probably one of the reasons why I sometimes have anxiety attacks...because some of her words still stick through my mind ("write bigger", "pay attention", etc.) I felt so much happier and better when I was placed into the special class with a teacher was nicer and calmer towards me. Her abusing elementary schoolers has crossed the line. She wasn't really my favorite teacher to begin with. I feel so bad for the elementary schoolers who had to deal with her.

all classrooms should have cameras for the safety of both teachers and students

Every classroom should have cameras. Not only to prevent cases like this but to also show parents how there’s a little rotten children are acting in class. There are a few parents that will try to correct the behavior. The vast majority of parents who’s kids are always a problem in class and you have to spend 90% of your time dealing with them, won’t care and that’s where they learned how to act. By observing their parents.

It will also help because parents can use those videos to go outside of the school system and actually have some of these kids prosecuted for assault on other children. Just because you are in school does not mean the laws do not apply to you. If your child is assaulted by another child, never let the school system handle it, go to the police station and file a police report, Press charges.

We have cameras and I resented them at first but turn them on often to CMA.
