Do photons (light) have mass - ScienceFacts

So photons dont have mass they are pure energy, and so thats why they follow the curvature of space time that is bent by the gravity of heavy objects such as black holes, planets, stars. Light has no other function then to follow the curvature and be absorbed by something.

Photons have momentum.. It's tiny though. Since energy equals mass times the speed of light squared, some scientists say that it probably DOES have mass. Somewhere near the Planck scale..
