SydneyPlantGuy's poles are 6ft/120cm. I do mine the same as his but I have to use a step stool to water. I use the same GT nutrients in my water so I'm hoping in 3 years time I get the similar results.

Do you think using jjust a plastic stake (no moss, no moisture) and some velcro would help a plant have larger leaves?

I have one moss pole and feel it’s too much of a hassle to keep moist. Just got a couple of the plastic d shaped poles to put some baby plants on and I might try putting some orchid mix and spagnum in it based on your description. They aren’t as big as yours and I didn’t see a link for them in your description box. Would you mind sharing? Also, I have been wondering about buying sheets of plastic and cutting some of my coated mesh to make my own. Have you tried that? Im thinking Dollar Tree cutting boards might work. There would be several connections but that might be ok for chopping and propping.
