In today's video, I will be showing you my latest project. I have successfully, not only installed Windows 11 On a phone, but I have also managed to install x86 programs like SteamVR on it. Will this allow us to play PCVR games on headsets like the Quest without the need for a gaming PC? Today we find out! I hope you enjoy the video :D

This was an entertaining video and I'd love to see more. I would say, don't feel pigeon holed into ONLY doing VR news or VR stuff in general. They say as a small channel you want to hyper focus your content on your chosen niche to grow but once you've gained solid footing and a solid audience, as you clearly have, your not hurting your channel by throwing some of these more personal projects in :)

Unity also has ARM for windows support on the latest beta. This means many VR projects can get ARM support in 1-2 years (as it right now isn't too stable)

This was actually a really cool video. I just built my own PC so I could kind of follow along with why things were weren't working.

Maybe you could look into getting one of those micro PCs. I keep seeing tech YouTubers make videos about. That would be great for VR stuff. Especially if they are small enough, you could mount them to the head strap of a headset.

Watching the video made me wish for a world where Microsoft could make successful Windows phones. But again, if the steam deck or even something like the switch aren't strong enough for a lot of applications than the technology just isn't there yet. But this was such a cool video!

Well, if you want that kind of project, you might wanna try using 2 cpus: 1 arm cpu + 1 APU(cpu)[ that has the same capacity of a 3060] = both in a SBC type motherboard, with the 32gb ram sticks + nvme cards for storage. The only thing missing now is a dedicated cooling & power system. Using a tiny version of windows 10/11 then hooking up a quest vr, then you're good to go. The real problem with this is its too expensive since dual cpu boards are kinda hard to find.

As someone that loves tech and does stuff similar to this myself, I think it'd be cool to see more videos like this

This was a good video, I’ll watch vr-adjacent stuff like this for sure. It helps to pad out the scope of your content, so keep it rolling.

I would love to see someone try to play a vr game using only the integrated graphics of a phone

I'm way more interested in installing the os that the steam deck has on a phone or tablet now. With the growth of vulkan, flat paks, linux, arm, m2, oryon, xr, etc. I'm very certain we're going to see the lines blurred between puck. This makes me even more excited for the growth of godot game eninge since it can deploy to any platform period.

this was fun project...I can not imagine how hard it was not to mess up the partitioning...especially on a MI phone...
