The most expensive rice bowl

This might be the most expensive rice bowl I’ve had this year, at 50 RMB each($7). I ordered one steak rice bowl and one eel rice bowl, and both were truly exceptional, even the sides. It reminds me of the saying, ‘You get what you pay for.’

Cooking at home is the best. I can honestly say that the price differences from China vs here in America where I live are shocking.
I really haven't had any food that has blown my mind that I could make for a fraction of the price at home. Best food I've had so far this year. Halal Whiting fish over rice with the white sauce 😁😅 I just need to perfect that yellow rice and the legendary white sauce.

Those are both easily upward of $15 in the US, potentially $20 or so depending on the area and the price on eel.
