He did it regardless of the newspaper writing it or not. He just kept on doing it & his perseverance is what attracts people.

In my opinion, the more interesting component to this tidbit is that he also knew that this strategy would not work against a fascistic government/society such as Nazi Germany. That non-violence as a solution against tyranny can only be successful for exactly the reasons stated by RG

Take many things regarding Ghandi’s “saintliness” with a grain a salt. But he(an extremely dark skinned man) was ironically very anti black. Yes, he did generate an incredible amount of needed change in his home country. He was quoted African/black people as inferior and subservient.

Gandhi is no saint in the slightest. No one who really knows about Gandhi and his doings about *"Partition"* would call him saint.

Rather, you should read about Dr. Ambedkar who is titled as *"The Symbol of Knowledge"*.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is a greatest gift for the people of India.

I can tell that you're a very intelligent person. Mr. Robert Greene. One thing I can say your wording is pretty good, your wording pretty smart but you say in just the right way where people follow along and get interested what you say but you just put out enough information to make people follow you but not enough for they can put away in urine from you and use it against you very smart. It's been a long time since. I seen someone's with your abilities.😮❤😊❤

Why should we care if he was saintly or not? He got a lit of sh** done while other people whined and complained and got nothing done. He made a lot of progress. Not perfect but he did move things forward.

Sir, I am mighty pleased to know you have read" My experiments with truth", Gandhiji's autobiography. I wish people would read and understand how brilliant Gandhiji was. Extremely noble leader.

With all due respect to Robert Green please read about Dr BR Ambedkar who vehemently opposed Gandhi and how Gandhi couldn't stand upto Ambedkar.Read about Ambedkar and his background his fight against casteism the most brutal and ancient form.of discrimination.Ambedkar qualifications till date are unmatchable. His convesrion to Buddhism which inspired lakhs of people renounce Hinduism and embrace Buddhism just in a single.meeting is historical.Never such a mass conversion occured in single instance throughout the history.such was his aura. And now u can observe his staues are being erected throughout rhe world. Intellectuals like u should bring out the greatness of Dr BR Ambedkar
