The story leading up to the song was just as cool as him singing it. He said that during Covid lockdowns, he and his wife started having dance parties together out in the garage, Just Like Heaven emerged as one of their favorite songs to dance to.

Yes! It's always great to see legends giving props to the legends before them. To me, Eddie Vedder is the last great rock vocalist of my generation growing up in the late 80's into the 90's. With the early passings of Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, and even Chester Bennington, really Eddie is all we have left of the OG alternative rock voices.

This song is truly uplifting. Nothing but good vibes from start to finish making me want to dance just like Eddie. I have always admired The Cure and Robert's writing prowess and this gem is easily one of their top 10 songs. Brings back wonderful memories of great times. Eddie and his band surely did justice to Just Like Heaven.
