My dad bought two 60 series LCs in the early 80’s. Learned to drive on them...he still owns them to this day. One has 895, 000 miles, one has 30, 000 miles. Nothing but regular maintenance on the high mileage one, still driven daily, has never broken down...incredible vehicles.

Being a huge Land Cruiser fan, this has to be one of the best videos you have done. Can you guys stop buying the other off road crappy vehicles and finally pick up an FJ60 or the best one, the FJ80fzj for a long term off road rig.

You guys in the US have to come down to Australia and see our 79 series

The Iron pig brings back memories. Went honeymooning for a fortnight in one near on 40 yrs ago in Tropical Queensland. So durable ! It even outlasted the wife! ;-)

I have 80series manual with 4.2 diesel engine. I have owned around 140 vehicles and this is the one that I’ll never sell . Best vehicle ever made.

Crazy thing is, these are only the U.S.released models. The rest of the world has so many others.

The 200 series is incredible too. In a world with a million Yukon Denalis and Escalades the 200 is the ultimate stealth wealth.

I have a poor man's LC, the 4.7 V8 2003 4Runner. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Over 200K miles and going strong.

100 series 🙌🏻 I love mine. I have had it since new in 2005 and have 277, 000 miles on it! Never had any issues

Had a 1996 80s series with factory lockers. That thing was an amazing refined beast. Engine was bullet proof & never burned a drop of oil. If a tire was on the ground, it was going through whatever was in its way. Had it for 10yrs, put almost 200k hard miles on it & never had any problems whatsoever. Sold it with 277k miles on it for almost what I paid. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Period!

The 80 Series is my favorite, although I would love to have a manual transmission in it. An 80 series manual would be perfect..

I passed a pristine Iron Pig (orange and cream) on the freeway yesterday. It was spectacular! I have to be content with my 62 and 80. Long live the 3FE.

I live in Venezuela. We got the 80 series until 2007 because it was so good. I have a 2006 manual 4.5. 120k km. And it is the best car ever made. Love it.

80 series is the best! Coil springs, solid front and rear axle, 3 lockers.

I love my 100-series from 2006, it has the 4.2 L 1HD FTE straight six, amazing engine - especially coupled with that 5-speed auto. It’s also very modern, and every time I look at it, I’m grateful for owning it!
