Followed this after looking up my issue and ordering parts (on Amazon for $26 as of 4/18/24). Aside from one screw he didn't mention on the coil housing ~which wasn't a big deal and easy to see on my model~ this helped me fix my dryer! I did it alone without help. Took me 1.5 hours in real time. Hardest part for me was disconnecting the stubborn wires from the fuses on the coil box. But looping the belt back on to the little pulley wheel seriously took me one minute. Having noodle arms and small hands helps! I also took pics of it on my phone from both angles inside ~flash helped~ before disconnecting the belt so that I could see exactly how it was looped on. You have have the belt on the smaller one first, and then push the big white one with good effort (to the left) to slide the belt on.

Whomever said this video was bad is a moron because my dryer is working now thanks to John the Pilot!

Thanks for this video!! My dryer stopped heating. I saw your video and bought the heating element/fuses kit and followed your directions for installation. The belt was difficult to reinstall but I’m glad you video’d what it was suppose to look like when the belt was placed. I paused it and looked at it for like 10 minutes and then figured out how to place the belt correctly. Again, thanks so much for the step by step directions on this video. It was VERY helpful!

Same as everyone else — I’m not the handiest person, but I followed this step by step and it helped so much. The only part that was not explained was that the belt needs to be looped twice around the white pulley in order to fit tightly around the drum!
