Jeremy Corbyn won't have Labour whip restored - Starmer

Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will sit as an independent MP in the House of Commons after his successor revealed the Labour whip will not be restored.

Sir Keir Starmer said Mr Corbyn's actions in response to the EHRC report "undermined and set back our work in restoring trust and confidence in the Labour Party's ability to tackle antisemitism."

She was previously a solicitor but now works in NHS occupational health. The couple's son and daughter are being brought up in the Jewish faith of their mother and the family attend shabbat dinners.
