Was his answer to the last question a dig at this whole video? "Pointless questions about my personal life"...

It's funny because Theresa May had the same answer of "Animals suffering, people suffering in desperation and poverty." ....but it was for the question "what makes you laugh?"

He very graciously answers five questions about his personal life (though he did spin a couple to more public issues), then very, _very_ politely explains to his questioner why he hates personal questions. Well done!

Id never heard of Jeremy Corbyn until he appeared on the news as a contender for the labour leadership campaign, yet in the last few weeks hes spoken more sense to me than any politician within the labour or conservative party that iv ever witnessed on TV, not because he is some super wise man, but just because he seems a normal person of reasonable intelligence n common sense, with sensible humane principles n ideas that most of us share, he genuinely speaking for the human rights of the struggling majority of the people we are, as opposed to the privileged few, n he is not afraid to do so.

Hes defo a breath of fresh air amongst todays mental, money polluted mainstream politicians, whos limelight n greedy self serving lifestyles are funded by n stolen from the taxpayer, todays politicians quite clearly being the biggest benefit scroungers of all, that behave like "Stepford wives" waiting to short circuit n blow their fuses, that have sadly have had there consciences gradually eroded n destroyed by the drug of easy money.

From what i gather of Jeremy, he has held his head n beliefs high throughout his political n campaigning career, n relentlessly fought for them against the odds. Iv never voted in my life, as have never noticed a UK politician on the tube who dosent appear to have been in some way mentally corrupted n disturbed by their undeserved wealth n destructive positions in power, with the exception of a few, like some clearly good people within the Green Party, n also a one or two within the liberal democrats. Jeremy seems like one of those rare few politicians that remains true to democracy, but with the difference that he may actually get to lead one of the two parties who can govern the UK.

Am not sure on all the fundamentals of left n right wing politics, but from what iv gathered over the years, their true meaning is simple, as in "left" wing politics represent fairness n justice for the many, whereas "right" wing represents the greed n self serving of the few.

Dont know much, but if nothing happens to turn the  scummy tide of political corruption before the next election, then UK democracy may by then be gone, washed up n wasted on dirty, bloody shores forever. Whether or not Jeremy can help stop that, who knows, but right now, the little hope our freedom has left, lies within his hands n the people support he gets, as most of those controlling n running the works of the Conservative n Labour party in their current form, are sadly, clearly insane, n  democracy will soon be buried if major change dont happen soon.

Hi - thanks for your comments. This was an experiment. Would you like to see more of these kind of quickfire interviews? If so, are there any people you'd like to see interviewed? And any questions you'd like asked?

The last major politician who is/was honest and true - unaffected by media image gurus and driven by principle.

"What makes you laugh?"
"Good comedy"
Argh, come on Corbs! Try harder! "People falling over" would've sufficed.

Its the first time I have seen that fearless hero of the people, Salvador Allende, mentioned by anyone in the political mainstream. See? None of that agony about choosing a fucking politically correct favourite biscuit that Gordon Brown went through or that absolutely pathetic display by David Cameron to convince everyone he ate pasties from a shop that didnt exist or that he supported West Ham United...errr...sorry Aston Villa, or was it the other one? He wasnt sure either.

When Corbyn speaks he speaks not only from the heart but also from a lifetime of reading and being engaged and informed. He isn't an Oxbridge drone via Harrow or Eton who felt entitled to the job.

I hope he wins, and then takes Labour to victory, and then just before he enters No. 10 he flicks the "V" sign to all the tossers who doubted him.

What makes Corbyn cry is what makes Theresa May laugh, seemingly.
