Watch as therapist, Steph Anya, breaks down the drama on Love is Blind UK, focusing on Sam, Nicole, and Beniah. Sam has come forward critiquing his, "villain edit." However, many things would be difficult to portray with a good edit alone. Let's deep dive into what he actually said on the show.

I really wanted you to talk about the gazillion times Sam says to Nicole during the reveal « trust me », « just trust me », « I need you to trust me »😅😅

I think the men's reaction (or lack thereof) to Nicole accepting Sam's proposal spoke volumes about his character and how the rest of the men viewed him. For the other guys, when they came back with the happy news, there was cheering and hugs and congratulations all around. With Sam, he got a few half hearted hugs and a "Cheers mate". Then when Sam started going on and on about how happy he was, the guys went to make sure Beniah was ok. And an even bigger contrast was how the men reacted when Beniah showed up in Greece, they were all absolutely overjoyed and practically tackled him and it was so sweet to see.

That reveal was so painful to watch, from the "oh my you're amazingly...what color are your eyes? boring brown." His superficiality was not evil editing, there's too many moments for it to be oh the editors twisted my words when it came outta his own mouth. He's constantly fishing for compliments and also victimizing himself as the "nice guy always finish last"

I think it's also important to note that Sam's talking about Nicole initiating sex with him was his way of sexually shaming her. Whether it was conscious or not, it was an attempt to drive her perceived value lower in the eyes of Beniah and the audience, and to get one up over Beniah. I think Beniah's laughing reaction to this was pitch perfect.

His "I think I love you" was so cringe. The secondhand embarrassment was nearly unbearable 😅

Unfortunately, that Rick and Morty quote always applies to guys like him: He's a predator that pretends to be prey

to me, the fact that he calls himself a 'boy' and he's looking for a 'girl' shows his immaturity and the fact that he doesnt see himself as a grown man

Would love your thoughts on Jasmine and her mother's dynamic in a future video!

I think Sam used a lot of cliche movie lines, especially his "I'm just a boy looking for a girl" corny lines. Jasmine saw right through it but it worked on Nicole unfortunately.

Can't wait for this!!! He was so rancid to me, genuinely one of the fakest, slimiest men Ive ever seen on Reality TV and that's saying something.
I also hate how they glossed over some of his truly vile comments at the reunion. He literally said "beggars can't be choosers" after Jasmine dumped him before proposing to Nicole the very next day. There were so many worse and more damning moments than just him wondering whether Nicole was a bigger woman or not.

I think that Sam bases his sense of self worth of based off of being romantically desired by attractive women. The more attractive the woman, the higher is self worth. When he was rejected it hurt his self worth, causing him to love bomb and act out of a place of desperation and scarcity. It gets to a point when he says "I just want to be loved" he means "I just want to be loved by a socially desirable woman." He has to talk about himself and get them to fall in love with him in order to feel worthy. What he needs is self love and therapy. Then maybe he can take accountability.

Thank you Steph Anya for your content. The reality tv insight is always fun to watch and helps me be a better partner and person myself.

I'm surprised at myself. I'm realizing that the drama doesn't appeal to me anymore. I don't want it to be messy. I just want these damn fools to be happy.

I loved the relationships between the 'pod squads' themselves too. After the toxicity of the Micha Irina season of US it was so refreshing. Like Ollie's birthday, Demi's love for all the girls (even after Cat's nonsense) and the wsy they console eachother after bad dates. 10/10 UK. Felt very proud to be English 😂😂😂

You explain everything so well!
I picked up All Sam's nonsense. His excessive concern on having His needs met no matter who is on the other side of that wall.
It was so nice to see Jasmine also pick up on what he was saying. And equally sad to see Nicole fall for it. He's just so needy, but he doesn't have anything to offer.

23:10 AND IT WAS A LIE! The only thing Nicole confirmed was that she attempted to "be physical". And during the reunion, Sam admitted that he lied. That just adds a whole layer of grime.

I’ve never watched love is blind before uk version and I was ultimately surprised at the level of maturity and vulnerability of some of contestants. It was so refreshing to see! Absolutely loved that☺️

This is the best love is blind.I prefer this to the American one. The maturity and genuineness of the contestants and their families was truly remarkable.

Also here for the healthy connections! Can we get a reality show that specifically aims for that, lol? My dream would be for them to have couples therapists who work with them throughout to help repair ruptures, clarify when couples are misaligned, etc. I was happy to see more healthy communication from this show than from other seasons I’ve seen.

I love how diplomatic the title is and then you very professionally tear him a new one.

I know it probably feels annoying to remind us to like, comment and subscribe but- I am more likely to comment with someone who I think has a horrible take and I realized that is depriving my favorite channels of deserved engagement. I have been working on that myself and the reminders make a difference at least for me to make sure I do all of the important engagement-y things to help your channel. Love your videos so much!
