I remember when the radio was in the kitchen, turned up loud enough to be heard in both bedrooms. I'd lay there in the dark, conjuring up all kinds of images in my mind! The was nearly 70 years ago - and I am forced to confess that I usually fell asleep before the program was over. It's so very nice to find a source where I can actually find out how it ended! You have my deepest gratitude - both for taking me down memory lane and for finally reaching the solution to the case.

The atmosphere created by these old lo-fi dramas is extraordinary and can resonate well even with younger folk. Thank you for streaming The Shadow, a light, entertaining, balanced super-hero and also detective show, the likes of which seem to have disappeared many decades ago. You have a niche audience, but please keep posting The Shadow streams for those thousands of people on this Globe who still enjoy these pieces of artwork.

These are wonderful! Like so many who come here, I am advanced in age and clearly remember sitting with my Grandmother while she crocheted, and we listened to The Shadow, and other magical radio plays. They incite great imagination! I have such warm memories coming back of my early childhood, and quiet and peaceful family nights together with our radio. Thank you so much for these. I also enjoy the ads, so often for patriotic and moral and spiritual support. They were in many ways, the good old days.

General comment. I've been listening to The Shadow radio shows on YouTube for about 2 years now and they are just about the best way to lose yourself in the past great ess of entertainment. I wish to comment specifically on the commercials I'm this particular series. I think everyone in America should have access to just the ads. The public service announcements are more than relevant in our current climate of derision and animosity. We had a country that was held together with a community spirit that is not just lacking but in danger of disappearing entirely. We need the messages that are portrayed here more than ever.

When I was a kid, my dad used to talk about how The Shadow was his favorite radio show when he was young. He's been gone for 27 years now. Thank you for giving me this connection wirh him after all these years!
