I used to love the In Line Downhill. I also remember in the 98 the exhibition events like Downhill Skateboard the only time Lee Dansie ever won an XGames gold medal.

0:58 Gypsy Tidwell that was a homage to the Mountain Dew Commercial out at that time with the "Oh Thank Heaven For Little Girls" with Ladies doing Extreme Sports where at the end of the commercial a pair of lips kiss the Lens & the Lipstick leave the mark of "Do The Dew" and then she screams.

I bet non of you know why it was cancelled. I raced in the women's downhill inline events in 96, 97 and 98. In 1999 we received a letter from ESPN saying they were cancelling the event. What they really meant was no one wanted to see us in spandex. Word on the street was the cool athletes all wore baggy clothing and we were wearing tight fitting clothing. Crazy right!!!!
