Chicken Katsu Sando | The Best Japanese Sandwich

Показать описание
Traditionally, Katsu Sando is made with pork cutlet, but I understand only some consume pork, so why not make it with chicken instead? Plus, it's delicious. This Japanese sandwich is straightforward to make and assemble and won't cost you an arm or a leg. Please enjoy.

Love to see Japanese recipes on here. It wouldn't be authentic, but for anyone who sees this video and says "I can't have deep fried food!" cooking them in the air fryer as an alternative for any katsu style dish is a great healthy alternative.

I've been making Katzu chicken sandwiches for a while now. They are delicious! I serve on larger bread and don't stack the chicken

In the U.S., the 🍞 bread, specifically what type and where to get it, is the most difficult thing to find.
We can learn how to make something when we have all the necessary ingredients.
For whatever reason, sando/milk bread is very difficult to find state-side.
Thank for this video. Hopefully I'll find the bread soon.

Looks great. But I know me and some of that chicken will not make it in between the bread...🤤

I recommend brine your Chicken, my Japanese mate here in Japan told me to brine the chicken with salt and sugar. Oishi

that thick, doughy, just-out-of-the-oven bread ain't for me, but otherwise looks tasty.
Maybe I'd toast the bread first. Or use a baguette.
