My rationale:

Exclusive model, all the cartoons, the army builder apps subscribed, and technically access to the "library".

For, .literally, less than the cost of a box of intercessors for the whole year.

Warhammer is definitely a luxury hobby, and the Dollars-to-Time math works out well for the sub fee.

The series begins with Sacrifice, which follows a pair of Space Marines on a vital mission. Space Marines are exempt from the majority of Imperial tithes (left to govern their own worlds independently in line with the ancestral oaths of their Chapter), but even the mighty Adeptus Astartes must make their own sacrifices in the name of loyalty, and to ensure the futures of their Chapters. This episode also sees a battle-worn warrior from a previous animation making a welcome return to screen.

Actually, according to the article on Warhammer Community, the first episode should be about a squad of Space Marines, of which one of these is confirmed to be Sa'Kan, the Salamander from Pariah Nexus. I can't wait to hear more, but it sounds very promising.

There is a short story by Ben Counter titled “sacrifices” that details what goes into arming the Grey Knights, and that would be a great introduction to both the GK and the Imperium of Man

Bit of a wishlist but I want one of the episodes to be around the Carcharadons' red tithe (bodies for aspirants & serfs) and/or grey tithe (materials). Subscription wise - it was for the models but just doesn't make sense anymore when I can go on ebay & try at some auctions

Sacrifice is suppose to be Space Marine related and involves a returning marine from another animation. My guess is Sa'kan from the Salamanders as they are known to sacrifice themselves for humanity more than any other

4:20 i'm not subscribe to Warhammer+ because i want to stay faithful to the poor bastards that did all those great fan animiations and got screwed over buy GW (several of them were pushed out of the Hobby because of this).
The best thing to do in my opinion is consuming Warhammer content without rewarding GW.

I wonder if this is connected (in a production sense) to High Lords (another 40k animation revealed at WH+'s launch) or if this is completely new, maybe High Lords got turned into one of the episodes? If this is completely separate though then that leaves 3 series/short films, out of the 11 revealed, left to be released (High Lords as mentioned, Altar of Wrath which is the Black Templar animation and the last of the hired fan animators, and of course Astartes 2).
The implication of Sa'Khan returning could also imply that M2 will be animating again ( also considering they, the hired fan studios, and Farside Features seem to be the go to animation teams it's not the wildest guess, process of elimination and all that).
Either way I think It's a great use of the medium to visualise and show aspects of the world/setting/lore that wouldn't get much focus otherwise (with 40k being focused on selling toy soldiers to use in a war game and all that).
