DIRECTV STREAM Review | Cord Cutting Internet Cable TV Replacement Subscription Service | Apple TV

DIRECTV STREAM is the rebranding of DIRECTV NOW and AT&T TV newly relaunched and spun out from AT&T proper. I've been using this service since it was DIRECTV NOW and in this video I'll give details on how it works and my thoughts on the service. Spoiler alert, I have found it to be a nice internet replacement cord cutting option for traditional cable for me.

Do you get local channels with their side channels?

That's what I have, if I go thru the box some channels the mouths are out of sync with the sound, but same channels are ok if I stream. Don't know why, I even tried to hardwire from the box to the sound bar & got a mesh system but still have the same problem.

Ty for the video. Can you help me please. I just cancelled Direct tv due to the price increase being too much. I went to spectrum and hate it because the user experience is leggy and not User Friendly. I am considering a Direct TV stream but I need to know if you can flip back and forth between a record show and a live stream. Spectrum will now let you flip back to a record show? With Spectrum you have to go start the show all over again. I appreciate your help? Thank you

On iOS does DirecTV Stream support Picture in Picture? I currently have YouTube TV but I miss the pip feature I was used to using when I had spectrum.

Up to a second audio cut out with DIRECTV. Tried everything can’t fix it. So annoying when I called up Customer service I know this sounds cheesy but sometimes I can’t even understand them… their accents are so thick..I lived for years in London so I’m used to it but sometimes it’s impossible

The price is certainly higher if like me, you need to go with the Ultimate package to get all of your favorite channels, but I'm MAINLY dissatisfied with the DVR.
Even when you upgrade to the unlimited DVR it only keeps your recordings for 90 days.
For what is supposed to be a premium service, I find the DVR inadequate because of that storage time.

It hurts cause the only package that has all the channels I want is the most expensive one and that’s horrendous . I like all the sports and local channels. And really want the TUDN app and it’s only with the most expensive plan with DTV

Using an Apple TV 4K 2nd generation with DirecTV Streaming. Skip forward, skip backward, fast forward and rewind functions don't work. These functions do work with Apple TV 4K 1st generation. Anyone else had this issue?

Do they offer this service for business ? I own a rental property with 19 units and would love to provide this for my tenants. I already have wireless access points throughout the property and provide a shared 400mb connection. I also provide cable through my local provider and am looking for a cheaper option as my bulk rate is over a 1000$ a month.
