The Bible is a helpful tool to know God's will for our lives, but it should never take the place of God himself. Unfortunately, in churches all over the world, the Bible has become an idol that people worship rather the the One to whom the Bible points.

What is "A Voice in the Desert"?

The purpose of A Voice in the Desert is to point people to the message, rather than the messenger. Most modern day prophets promote themselves more than the teachings of Jesus and the true message of Revelation. A Voice in the Desert challenges that error and more. Some of the things you hear on this channel may be difficult to understand, and may offend you. The goal, however, is to sweep away dogmas and traditions to reveal what Jesus actually taught.

Worship and obey the Word Of God. Not the bible...

HOWEVER, I FEAR TOO THAT HIS TEACHINGS CAN BECOME AN IDOL THAT VEILS US FROM HIM(HIS PERSON). WE ABIDE IN HIS PERSON(SPIRIT) CONTINUALLY FIRST, TO BE ABLE TO BEAR THE FRUIT OF OBEDIENCE TO HIS TEACHINGS NEXT.

I BELIEVE NOTHING SHOULD COME BEFORE ABIDING IN HIM(HIS PERSON/SPIRIT). ISN'T THIS WHY HIS NAME IS "I AM"(HIS PERSON/SPIRIT), AND NOT "I HAVE"(OUT OF HIS PERSON)?

HE ALWAYS CALLED US TO HIM, NOT TO HIS TEACHINGS. WHEN WE COME TO HIM AND ABIDE CONTINUALLY IN HIM, HIS PERSON/SPIRIT WILL BEST INTERPRETE HIS TEACHINGS TO US AND HELP US OBEY!

Jesus is God.

Could not agree more! And Bibliotary has a helpmate, Christian Fundamentalism with its emphasis on literal interpretations, which has been instrumental in seeing the decline of Christianity during the last century. The answer? A God/Christ spirituality following the WAY of JESUS.

Didn't Jesus say, "Have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying" and then quote the Old Testament? Shouldn't we have the same view of Scripture that Jesus did? I'm not sure that's the view being presented in this video.

Sorry...but you talk about something that falls flat. You have no clue what you are saying. You really have no clue what you are talking about. You might as well say, "That worshiping Jesus is paganism" ! Yeshua (Jesus) is the author of the Bible (Book of Heaven), Old and New Testaments. NO ONE WORHIPS the Book of Heaven. They hold it as precious to their hearts. Unless you are prepared to debate and trey to prove your argument, you really need to avoid the topic.

Are you saying we should not follow the Word of God? Is your goal to denigrate Christians from the Word of God? How will one know God without knowing His Word? Am sure, you are making reference to the Bible but inside the Bible is the Word of God. Joshua 1:8 states 'This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein, for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success'. God commanded His people to meditate the book of the law which is the Bible, you are having a problem with here. Idolatry is worship but you haven't in your video defined how reading the Bible and trusting the Word of God turns into Idolatry. I think your last words makes me believe you have a problem with the Bible as you call it imperfect but you have not stated where those imperfections lie.
