I am a wool sock fan boy. I am a hunter and lineman for work. I wear wool socks 5-7 days a week. My wife got me 2 pair for Christmas and have wore them a little over 2 months probably 2 times a week. The foot bed is gone in the hollow sock already it’s paper thin. Hopefully a faulty pair because I love them. I have contacted the company to see there input. As of now I give them the best all around short term sock because they haven’t held up. But all around durability comfort, wicking and warranty I give to Kenetrek. They are incredible socks.

I love my hollow boot socks.
In Florida. They keep my sweaty feet much dryer then my Merino socks.
In Gortex boots, my feet are no hotter then they are with Merino, and AFAICT cooler.

I have cold feet and I love my Hollow socks. My only con has been that the compression versions that I wear for work have really worn down on the bottom of the foot. I imagine I will be busting holes in both pairs very soon. Not the case with any of my other pairs.

I just bought some hollow socks for work. I have to wash my feet 3 times a day because I sweat profusely. I’m tired of it. I’m hoping these will help

What about when they get wet? I hear they aren't very good when wet (whether that be from the elements or from sweat). Any experience with alpaca when wet?

Hollow socks are low quality trash!!! Don’t waste your money! They don’t stand behind their product either! Buy some darn tough sock instead. I’ve been wearing them for years and haven’t had any issues. And Darn Tough guarantees their product.
