Much needed and greatly appreciated improvements. I'm loving this return to "desktop" basics approach....a lot! Now, if they'd just concede to a +50% price reduction on 8.1 OS.

I dont even use the W8 menu. I would like them to add the sign out and lock option for use in the charm bar instead of just sleep, restart and shutdown. THat would be very help full.

is the windows experience index back in this update? I downgraded back to windows 8 because 8.1 didnt have that

It needs another update ASAP. Being honest... it's the most aggravating OS I have ever used. I hate how often the right panel UI keeps opening when I have the browser fully open. If there's a way to customize this, then I'm complaining before looking it up. Still... there's other issues and I can't wait for a new update.

I liked the direction they took with Metro better.
But all the noob users complaining.. Argh.
