Turns out my computer had this problem because I mistakenly left my flash in over night. I didn't even realize it was still in while I was trying to fix the issue. I was just watching this video then I saw the info on flash drives, CD cards etc. I took the flash out and pressed ALT, CTRL and DELETE.
The issue was immediately fixed, I didn't have to do all the resetting.

Awesome fix! I just got my computer back from a tech who was supposed to add ram and something happened and everything got corrupted. Lost all my files. Anyway, the second morning I had it back I had the "missing operating system." I kinda freaked. So glad this worked. Thank you.

Thank god. I just removed a virus and restarted and it said that and I went to your video. Then it says it may be from viruses... Then I was scared and unplugged all usb slots and restarted and it worked! Thanks man. Subbed.

You're the best. On another computer I'm on Linux and got the message/crashed, no OS found. I couldn't even get the menu for ubuntu. Another page / resource I tried, normally good, it was too convoluted. As soon as you mentioned unplug any USBs I went "aha" as I had one plugged in. Normally it's fine. Unplugged it and powered up, and I'm back!. I'm a bit techy but usually have to muddle my way through. THANK YOU
