I said it a number of times and will say it again: whoever shot and edited that video (as well as most of Porsche videos on this channel) is a true artist. I hope, I really hope, they get reasonably high payment for their work. High enough to be able to afford one of Porsche magnificent masterpieces. What has changed from previous generation?

Can't say I necessarily like it, but definitely looks inspired by older retro 911s. The one strip of light on the rear and a more 3D hood reminds me of many air cooled (specifically 993). Overall looks more muscular.
I still prefer the more smooth, curvy, and feministic design of 996 to 991 though..
But definitely some good connections in terms of design queues on this new 911! Hopefully the look grows on me.

Um what is with that shaver thing that is now the gear shift? I agree with many of the critics of the 911, the 911 sold out, it's no longer a true sports car. The Cayman is now the real sports car.
