How to use VOCALOID3 and VOCALOID4 Voicebanks

This didn't answer my question at all. I need to know how to install the voicebanks into Vocaloid 5 in the first place. They aren't accessible in the software itself because they aren't appearing under the 'Voices' tab. This tutorial was essentially just "u open the voicebanks and then use them"

i downloaded v5 and i got v3 Oliver separately, how do i use his voice on v5

You need to mess around in regedit, though. Vocaloid5 looks under `Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VOCALOID5\Voice\Components`, but Vocaloid4 voice banks go under What worked for me was replicating one of the keys already in V5, but copying all the string values (`Key`, `Path`, etc.) from the V4 folder.
Basically, it's tricking the V5 editor into thinking the V4 libraries are actually V5. The voices don't show up in the sound effect pane, it probably needs some more tinkering in regedit, but they're in the Voices tab after selecting a track.

i try opening the vsqx, but I didn't have vocaloid 3 or 4 voicebanks. you need to have vocaloid 4 editor, downloading voicebanks from vocaloid 3 and 4, and then put it on vocaloid 5 too. is that possible?
