So Padme could climb a massive pillar in episode two with her hands tied, yet she can't climb her husband... how people change

That had to have been on purpose, at least subconsciously.. If Anakin thought his wife was in mortal danger he could've lifted that entire fucking structure they were hanging off of, let alone two people.

Anakin let him die, he was holding Clovis with his robotic hand, when Clovis said sorry and loosened his grip, Anakin felt it was the perfect chance to do the same.

Good guy Clovis: Almost kills woman and then sacrifices his life for her within the span of 2 minutes.

Y'all blaming Anakin for dropping Clovis. Clovis let go. Plus, using the force requires concentration, which was not very easy considering that he was fully concentrated on not dropping Clovis and Padme.

All these people griping about "Why didn't Anakin save Clovis?" His wife was just threatened by this guy. Are you honestly surprised?

Anakin: Hm. Now seems like a PERFECT time to forget that I'm an ultra-powerful Jedi Knight who doesn't need arms to levitate things!

So everyone's saying Anakin could've used the Force and wanted Clovis to die. I on the other hand, noticed a couple things:
1. Anakin tries to end the situation by talking to Clovis, telling him "You don't want to do this."
2. If Anakin wanted Clovis dead, he could've easily just grabbed Padme and let Clovis fall off the building without even trying to save him.
3. Plenty of Jedi have been in similar situations before and not used the Force to assist them (as an example: In season 1, after a bomb is set off by Ventress, Ahsoka is hanging off an edge and Luminara uses her own strength rather than the Force to save her).
4. Anakin shows clear regret when Clovis let's go.
5. Anakin wouldn't risk Padme's life to save a guy he wants dead, if Clovis was replaced with someone like Dooku, he would've helped Padme and only Padme.
6. Finally, if Anakin truly wanted Clovis dead, he would've absolutely just let him go.

This milestone in Padme and Anakin's marriage always made me want to cry. In the Clone Wars, their characters are so perfectly imperfect, and the context of this moment (Ahsoka leaving the order, Fives dying in a fit of rage, Padme's tireless efforts for peace in the Senate falling on deaf ears, et cetera) makes it so emotional for me. They both had so much weight on them, but it made their relationship stronger in the end. I can't wait to see how their marriage fares in Season 7!
