Toyota FINALLY Revealed NEW HYDROGEN Combustion Engine Truly A Game Changer!

Toyota has been a pioneer in hybrid and plug-in hybrid automobiles since it introduced the ground-breaking Prius in 1997. These vehicles paved the way for the present electric vehicle boom. Despite its heritage, the Japanese company has been reticent to embrace the all-electric trend head-on. As of mid-October, just a few hundred of Toyota's strangely called BZ4X units had been sold, and the Japanese automaker doesn't intend to scale up manufacturing until 2025, according to an Electrek article.

Also, Toyota has now introduced its new Hydrogen Combustion engine which, as they claimed, will take the market by storm. So, do you want to learn more about this?

Well, keep watching till the end as, in this video, we examine whether Toyota’s new Hydrogen Combustion Engine will truly be a Game Changer!

The company's president, Akio Toyoda, emphasized Toyota's hesitation to embrace fully electric cars. According to the Wall Street Journal,

The bulk of those working in the car sector, according to Toyoda, is essentially quiet. "That quiet majority is debating if having EVs as the only alternative is indeed acceptable. They are unable to speak out because they believe it to be the norm. We shouldn't restrict ourselves to one choice since the correct response is still ambiguous.

Even if that opinion is debatable, it should be taken into account. Only a small portion of the market for new cars is made up of all-electric vehicles, said automotive research company J.D. Power.

What then is Toyota's alternate plan to comply with the stricter environmental regulations and phase out of fossil fuels? The Corolla Cross H2 Concept is a brand-new prototype hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine (often referred to as an "ICE"). The GR Corolla and GR Yaris' powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which has been adapted to run on hydrogen, provides the power. What does that process of conversion entail? The extremely flammable hydrogen technology that Toyota learned with its FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle), the Mirai, must first be stored in thick, armored fuel tank(s).

Stronger connecting rods, harder valves and valve seats, and fuel injectors made for gas rather than liquid are all added to the engine itself. The Cross H2 Concept can accommodate 5 people and their belongings much like a regular Corolla. The advantages over EVs include greater range and quicker refilling periods, with the hydrogen-powered GR Yaris H2 requiring just 90 seconds. Hydrogen is also the most plentiful element in the universe. There is also a clear decrease in the usage of essential components utilized in the battery packs of electric vehicle construction but in short supply, such as lithium and nickel. Winter testing of the Corolla Cross H2 will shortly start in northern Japan as it is now being evaluated in real-world conditions.

Toyota has also teamed up with Yamaha Motor to build a hydrogen-fueled V-8 engine, which will excite mechanics worldwide. The 5.0-liter V-8, which Yamaha stated would be based on the one used by the Lexus RC Coupe, was to be modified, among other things, by having different cylinder heads and fuel injectors, according to a statement made earlier this year. Yamaha says that it will generate 398 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm and 455 horsepower at 6,800 rpm. Even though it has a little less power than the standard gasoline V-8, it is still fairly acceptable. The eight-into-one
