How to Use Dual Forms with Acrylic: Easy Manicure

Many of you are familiar with dual forms, or “poppits”. For those of you that aren’t familiar, dual forms are a really cool and easy way to apply gel or acrylic nail extensions. The user can literally build the nail inside the dual form, place it on the nail, wait to dry and then simply pop the form off from the acrylic on the nail. It’s that easy! Another really neat thing about these dual forms is that they usually do not need to be covered with a top coat because once popped off, the surface underneath is very smooth and shiny. We did a segment on this method at school. Prep is exactly the same. If you prep correctly the nails will last same as sculpted. Any school worth it’s salt teaches this method. It’s not a replacement for sculpted nails. Being able to pre design and encapsulate and eliminate 90%of filing and product waste makes this a valuable tool.

these things a the Bomb and Awsome!!!! The salon in my area are just now getting on board with these things, these are just not another press on nail this is a faster form of sculptured nails, all I have to do is call ahead and pick my nail color gel tell the nail tech what kind of design I want on my cell phone and boom customized sculptured. In half the time for my appointment. Plus its another alternative for people who are allergic to nail glues and or acrylic liquid.
